Role

Web Design

Duration

4 months (2023)

Challenge

The existing website no longer aligned with her current positioning. It included outdated imagery and lacked the emotional tone needed to connect with couples planning one of the most important days of their lives.

The goal was to refresh the site to better represent her services, build trust quickly, and create a more inviting user experience.

Approach

I focused on balancing credibility with warmth. The design needed to feel trustworthy and refined, while still capturing the joy and intimacy of weddings.

Reviewed the existing website to identify outdated visuals, inconsistent messaging, and areas where the user experience broke down.

Shifted the tone from formal and institutional to warm, personal, and celebratory, while still maintaining a sense of professionalism and trust.

Replaced outdated imagery with recent wedding photography to better reflect real ceremonies and create an immediate emotional connection with users.

Streamlined navigation and layout to make the site more intuitive, ensuring visitors can quickly find key information and take action.

Solution

The final website delivers a refined and approachable digital presence that aligns with Patrice’s current role and audience.

By combining updated visuals, clearer structure, and a more human tone, the site now communicates both credibility and warmth. The experience is designed to build trust quickly while making it easy for potential clients to understand her services and move toward booking.

Results

Clearer messaging and structure led to more direct client outreach.

Improved hierarchy helped users find key information quickly, reducing drop-off.

Updated visuals increased immediate trust and perceived professionalism.

More relevant imagery and tone encouraged users to explore more of the site.
